Baseball in Dominican Republic gets government support for 2021 National Teams, events

The Canteens (Comedores Económicos) will provide food at all Federation's events and support the National Teams

With baseball being the national sport of the Dominican Republic, the Economic Canteens of the the country (CEED, Comedores Económicos del Estado Dominicano) will support the Dominican National Baseball Federation (FEDOBE) through 2021.

FEDOBE President Juan Núñez Nepomuceno signed an agreement with the Director of CEED, Edgar Augusto Feliz Méndez.

CEED will supply food at all the FEDOBE events, including national championships and regional tournaments. The agreement includes meals for the players training in National Team camps prior to international competitions, starting with the Women's National Team Camp that recently opened.

CEED is an organization created in 1942 with the goal of distributing food and is backed by the Dominican Republic presidential office.
