The baseball season is set to open in Switzerland on Saturday, 13 June. The Swiss Baseball and Softball Federation (SBSF) announced that the baseball second division (NLB, National Liga B) will open with five games, while top league (NLA National Liga A) will follow with four games on Sunday, 14 June.
This is the schedule of the NLA opening day:
11 am and 2 pm Thernwil Flyers-Zuerich Barracudas 11 am and 2 pm Zuerich Challengers-Bern Cardinals
The Swiss NLA is a six-team league. The Bern Cardinals are the defending champions. They swept the Zuerich Challengers in the best of five final series 2019.
