Leonessa Brescia and Fortitudo Bologna White Sox will meet in the final of the Italian Baseball for the Blind Championship.
Leonessa defeated Patrini Malnate, 7-2, in the semifinal in Sasso Marconi, near Bologna. Ghulam led the offence, going 2 for 5 with a couple of home runs. Designated hitter Toigo added a home run.
The Fortitudo Bologna White Sox outscored the Tigers Cagliari, 12-4, on home turf in the other semifinal. Bologna's offence pounded 18 hits, with Fatty and Napoli both enjoying a five-hit game.
The final is scheduled on Saturday, 10 October, at the Leoni field in Bologna. The game starts at 3 pm CEST.
