British Baseball Federation launches series of learning webinars

The 10 courses will happen bi-weekly from 1 to 31 March. Registration is mandatory.

The British Baseball Federation (BBF) will launch on Monday, 1 March, a series of 10 bi-weekly webinars (all scheduled at 7.30 pm GMT) that will continue through Wednesday, 31 March.

Participation is free, but spaces are limited. Registration is mandatory.

The first webinar is scheduled for Monday, 1 March. Drew Spencer, Great Britain Baseball National Team manager, will speak about players and coaches development.

Ryan Harrison, Sports Vision Trainer, will speak on improving visual ability on Wednesday, 3 March.

Monday, 8 March Justin Stone, CEO of Elite Baseball Training, will talk about the many insights into the science of hitting.

Travis Kerber, Elite Baseball Training pitching director, will share his expertise on the art of pitching.

Monday, 15 March, Jeff Krushell, a strength and conditioning specialist and the Krush Performance CEO, will talk about human performance.

Former professional player Tyler Goodro, who currently is a scout for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB), will talk about catching on Wednesday, 17 March.

Dana Cavalea, who was the Director of Strength and Conditioning for the New York Yankees when they won the 2009 MLB World Series, will talk about a champion's habits on Monday, 22 March.

Wednesday, 24 March, Justine Seigal, the first woman to coach for an MLB organization and the founder of Baseball for All, will share her knowledge about developing the player.

Monday 27 March Don Freeman, who coached the USA U-16 National Team to a World Title, will talk about base running.

The last webinar is scheduled for Wednesday, 31 March. WBSC Technical Commissioner Pete Caliendo will talk about game tactics.
