Coronavirus precautionary measure - WBSC staff to continue working from home

The WBSC head office staff have been working from home for two weeks in order to support the worldwide efforts to reduce the risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus and protect the WBSC workforce and their families.

In accordance with the directives from the Swiss Government concerning the coronavirus outbreak, and in order to support the worldwide efforts to reduce the risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus as well as to protect the WBSC workforce and their families, the WBSC head office staff will continue to work from home.

While there have been no reported cases of the coronavirus among the WBSC staff, this step, which was first put in place by the WBSC two weeks ago, is part of the precautionary measures put in place this week by the Swiss authorities.

During this time, the WSBC office operations will continue to function as normal as much as possible, however there could be some delays in answering correspondence from time to time, especially considering the extraordinary nature of the current situation.

In the meantime, we encourage all WBSC member federations to remain in contact with their national governing bodies and health services authorities to understand and follow their recommendations and instructions while the WBSC head office, as always, is available for any assistance or support.
