Cuba, New South Wales Baseball League sign Memorandum of Understanding

Cuban Ambassador Tanieris Diéguez La O and the league's CEO Mark Marino committed to a collaboration process intended to achieve sports exchanges in Baseball and Baseball5.

The Cuban Baseball Federation and the New South Wales Baseball League signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Cuban Embassy in Canberra, Australia.

The document intends to initiate a process of collaboration between the two entities. The ultimate goal is to achieve sports exchanges in Baseball and Baseball5.

The MoU was signed by the Cuban Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia, Tanieris Diéguez La O, on behalf of the Cuban Baseball and Softball Federation and the league's CEO, Mark Marino.

"Both entities highlighted the interest in establishing sports cooperation relations and their common will to collaborate in promoting the development of Baseball5 and Baseball in both countries based on the fundamental principles of sports," stated the Cuban Embassy.

"There is a shared enthusiasm for the sporting school program, with a particular focus on Baseball New South Wales Baseball5's disability sports initiatives and Wheelchair Baseball5," added the New South Wales League's website. "We are excited to see what this partnership has in store."
