The Dominican Republic Baseball National Team announced a sponsorship deal with the Japanese firm ONYONE and unveiled the team’s new uniforms for the WBSC Premier12, the top international baseball tournament of the year and Tokyo 2020 Olympic qualifier.

The Dominican Republic Baseball National Team announced an apparel sponsorship deal with the Japanese firm ONYONE and unveiled the team’s new uniforms for the WBSC Premier12, the top international baseball tournament of the year and Tokyo 2020 Olympic qualifier.

ONYONE will be the Dominican Republic’s technical sponsor until the end of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and will provide the official uniforms and the training apparel.

The team’s look will feature the traditional white, red and blue combination. The Dominican home uniform has a white jersey, with “Dominicana” written in blue and red across the chest. On the other hand, the visitor jersey will be blue, with red and white letters and numbers.

World number 12 Dominican Republic will play in Group A of the Premier12 in Guadalajara, Mexico. The Caribbean team will open the global battle on 2 November against host Mexico; the day after will face No. 8 the Netherlands and will close on 4 November against No. 2 USA.

New York Mets coach Luis Rojas will manage the Dominican Republic National Team in the most important international baseball event of the year.
