Head coach Percy Isenia has announced a provisional roster for the V IBAF Women’s Baseball World Cup in Edmonton, Canada, which will be played from August 10 to 19, 2012.
Coaches Isenia, Eddy Dix, Ronald Jaarsma and Elton Koeiman invited 18 players to the roster. Two more players will be added to the team in the coming weeks.
To prepare for the tournament the Dutch squad is playing exhibition games against a couple of Dutch men’s baseball teams.
It is going to be the second time that the Netherlands will participate in the Women’s Baseball World Cup.
