Ernest Denso elected new president of Ghana Baseball and Softball Federation

Danso will replace Albert Frimpong, the founder and past president of the federation who stepped down after over three decades of promoting and developing the sports in Ghana. 

The Ghana Baseball and Softball Federation on Saturday, 16th October, elected Mr Ernest K. Danso as its new president. Danso will replace Albert Frimpong, the founder and past president of the federation who stepped down after over three decades of promoting and developing the sports in Ghana. 

Ernest Danso comes in with experience in marketing and sponsorship and is determined to build upon what has been done, and take the game in Ghana to another level, the federation says.

Danso will be joined by Edmund K. Ackom as Vice President and Lauretta Baddoo as the organisation’s Treasurer.

In March 2019, Ghana hosted the Zone West Continental Pre Qualifier, with the participation of Burkina Faso, Nigeria and the host team. 

Ghana is currently the world No. 70 team in the WBSC Men’s Baseball World Rankings.
