European Men's Softball Championship 2021 opens in Czech Republic

The top two teams from the continental championship will advance to the WBSC Men’s Softball World Cup 2022 in New Zealand.

The European Men's Softball Championship officially opened today, 21 June, in Ledenice and Sezimovo Ústí fields, in host Czech Republic, with nine participating national teams. The top two teams from the continental championship will advance to the WBSC Men’s Softball World Cup 2022 in New Zealand.

Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Israel, Lithuania, Netherlands, Slovakia and Sweden will compete in a single round-robin, with the top-two finishers advancing to the final on 26 June.

Fans will be able to watch the games from the main field on baseballsoftball.tv, while the games on Sezimovo Ústí will be streamed on the Czech Softball Association YouTube Channel.

The brand new WBSC Europe website will offer all the information about the tournament, such as play-by-play, scores, schedule, standings and stats.
