European Qualifiers for U-12, U-18 Baseball World Cups set

Mortsel in Belgium and Macerata in Italy will host the two European Championships. The top two finishers will earn the right to perform on the world stage.

Europe is granted two spots in the 2021 WBSC U-12 and U-18 Baseball World Cups, and this year's U-12 and U-18 European Championships will serve as qualifiers. The hosts, dates, teams and groups of these continental championships have been announced.

Mortsel, Belgium, will host the U-12 Baseball European Championship from 6 to 11 July 2020. The eight participants will be split into two groups. The defending champions Italy, the Czech Republic, France and Hungary will compete in Group A. Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Russia will play in Group B.

The next WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup, which will be the sixth edition of the youth world championship, is scheduled for July 2021 in Tainan, Taiwan. The two European squads that qualify for the World Cup will face five National Teams from the Americas, two from Asia, one from Oceania and one from Africa. A wild card will determine the last participant.

Macerata, Italy, will be the host of the U-18 Baseball European Championship from 13 to 18 July 2020. Ten National Teams will be split into two groups. The defending champions the Netherlands, Italy, France, Lithuania and Israel will play in Group A. Spain, the Czech Republic, Ireland, Germany and Austria will compete in Group B.

The XXX WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup 2021 is scheduled for 10 to 19 September in Sarasota and Bradenton, Florida, USA. The top two finishers of the European Championship will advance to the World Cup and go against the top five National Teams from the Americas, the top two from Asia, and the top nation from Oceania and Africa, respectively, in addition to a wild card country.
