The final works were completed today with the installation of the bases and the pitching mound.

The WBSC Development Commission supported the renovation of a field through a grant to the Tanzania Baseball and Softball Association. The project was completed on Monday in the nation's capital, Dar Es Salaam.

Maintenance work began on 17 March with the levelling of the playing surface. The base paths have been revamped. The final phase of works included installing bases and pitcher's mound.
