Following one year wait, champions receive 2019 Puerto Rico's Baseball Double-A League trophy

The 2020 season was cancelled. The 2021 edition is set to begin on 13 June.

The Puerto Rican Baseball Federation (FBAPR, Federación de Béisbol Aficionado de Puerto Rico) can now celebrate the winner of the 2019 Superior Double-A League season.

The Mulos de Juncos received their trophy this past Saturday (27 March). The awards ceremony had been scheduled exactly one year ago, but FBAPR had to cancel it amid the COVID-19 outbreak. The pandemic later led to the cancellation of the 2020 season.

The Mulos defeated the Jueyeros de Maunabo in the final and clinched their first title in 28 years. They are currently the only team that has at least 10 Double-A titles since the league was founded in 1940.
