Four advance to Puerto Rico women's baseball postseason

Lobas de Arecibo, Maceteras Vega Alta, Poetas Juana Diaz and Artesanas Las Piedras are in the semifinals scheduled for Sunday, 14 November.

The Lobas de Arecibo finished in first place the regular season of the Puerto Rico Women's Baseball League (LBFPR).

Angelis Rivera of the Artesanas de Las Piedras finished the regular season with a dominant 8-0 record, a 0.29 earned run average (ERA) and earned best pitcher honours.

Adrix Paradiso of the Lobas won the batting title with an impressive .625 batting average. She led the league in hits (30), doubles (11) and runs scored (31). She finished third in stolen bases with 14.

The postseason opens on Sunday, 14 November, with the semifinals between the Lobas and fourth-place Maceteras Vega Alta. Second-place Poetas Juana Diaz and third-place Artesanas Las Piedras will compete in the second semifinal.
