Germany confirmed as the U-15 Baseball European Champions. The BundesTeam defeated the hosts Italy, 10-3, in the final played in Nettuno.

Three pitchers combined for the win for Germany, despite allowing a total nine walks over seven innings. Noah Lindt pitched 3.2 innings in relief and earned the win.

Germany entered in the sixth leading 4-3 and opened the score with a five-run rally, capitalising on a defensive error with six hits, including a home run by centre fielder Horger and a triple by Lindt.

Starter Elia Sartini went four innings allowing four runs, but Germany’s offence thrived on relievers Belardi (who suffered the loss), Catellani and Luciani.
