A session of the IBAF Executive opened on Thursday December 1 the series of meetings and workshops that will lead to the Ordinary Congress of the International Baseball Federation (IBAF).
The first section of the Congress will open at 8.30 on Saturday December 3.
It is very likely going to be a very intense Congress. The delegates will be informed about the new International Schedule, the relation between the IBAF and the professional organizations, the campaign for Olympic reinstatement. There will be room for an update about the IBAF Media plan, the relation with the International Softball Federation and Women baseball.
Friday December 2 wil also be a busy day, with the meetings of the Development (including umpires and scorers) and Tournament Commissions, the meetings of the Continental Confederations (COPABE, the Americas, will elect their new President) and a seminar on field maintenance led by Murray Cook.
At night Major League Baseball will make a presentation of the 2013 World Baseball Classic.
