IBAF Women’s Baseball Development Seminar

It is with great pleasure that the International Baseball Federation informs about the organization of the IBAF’s first ever Women’s baseball development seminar in Edmonton, Canada from August 16-20.

It is with great pleasure that the International Baseball Federation informs about the organization of the IBAF’s first ever Women’s baseball development seminar in Edmonton, Canada from August 16-20.

This seminar is designed for baseball officials to approach various matters concerning Baseball for Girls and Women and will look to help strengthen and newly launch baseball programs in their own nations. The seminar will also be a platform to interact with prestigious speakers and senior leaders of the international Women’s baseball community with a combination of classroom course and visits to the World Cup games. The participants are expected to actively discuss and learn different cases of how baseball for girls and women have been developed in the world and what is considered to be crucial in their success.

Location: Telus Field, Edmonton Canada (TBC)

Date: August 16 (Arrival) – 20 (Departure)

Registration fees: Free of charge. Accreditation for the World cup included in the offer.

Accommodation: Single room at adequate hotel. To be provided to all participants free of charge

Ground Transport: Participants have an option to take shuttle bus to the hotel or take taxi at own account.

International Transport: Individual wishing to attend or National Federation sending a representative will cover the expenses.

Airport: For flights, use of Edmonton international airport is recommended.

Interested Federation may complete and submit the registration form to our office at ibaf.office@ibaf.org by July 15th.

Please note that nomination forms must be sent through National Federations in respective countries. Any individuals wishing to attend the seminar should contact the National Federations for approval.

Limited space is available and please note that you may not be able to attend in the event of high volume of applications.
