World No. 21 Israel announced today a 14-man list for the inaugural edition of the WBSC U-23 Men’s Softball World Cup, to be played at Nafaldo Cargnel Stadium in Parana, Argentina, from 15-23 April. Israel will be managed by Corey Vyner.
Israel qualified for this World Cup after a bronze medal finish at the European Championship, played in July last year. No. 6 Czechia claimed the title, followed by No. 11 Denmark.

Israel will open the World Cup in Group B, against No. 2 Canada, No. 3 Japan, No. 7 New Zealand, No. 8 Venezuela, and Team WBSC. The top three finishers from each group will advance to the Super Round. On Opening Day, Israel will play against New Zealand at 12:30 local time.
