Founded in 1990, the CBBS is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

Jorge OTSUKA has been confirmed as the Brazilian Baseball and Softball Confederation (CBBS, Confederaçao Brasileira de Beisebol e Softbol) President and will serve in the position for another four-year (2021-2024) term.

Estevao Tenichiro Sato (Vice President), Joao Lucas de Franca Filho, Charles Robert Trevisan and Antonio Shozo Sasakura will join Otsuka in the administration for the next term.

Founded in 1990, the CBBS this year is celebrating its 30th anniversary. In July, the Brazilian national governing body unveiled a new logo to celebrate the milestone.

Currently Brazil is the current No. 21 in the WBSC Baseball Men's World Rankings, No. 14 in the WBSC Softball Women’s World Rankings and No. 45 in men’s softball.
