KBO appoints new Commissioner and Secretary General

Former Prime Minister Chung Un Chan sat in the Commissioner Chair at the beginning of the year. On Tuesday, January 30, the board of directors named journalist Chang Yoon Ho as the new Secretary General

The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO), the top sports league in the Republic of Korea, renewed top management.

At the beginning of 2018 new Commissioner Chung Un Chan (cover picture) took office. His term will last 3 years.
Doctor Chung Un Chan was born in 1948 and is a former Prime Minister. His time in office began on 28 September, 2009 and ended on 11 August, 2010.

On Tuesday, 30 January, KBO board appointed the publisher of Star News, a website dedicated to celebrities, Chang Yoon Ho as the new Secretary General.

Now 56, Chang Yoon Ho began his career in 1987 as a baseball reporter. He made his name in journalism covering Chan Ho Park, the first ever Korean to play in Major League Baseball (MLB).
