M.N. Krishnamurthy confirmed as president of the Baseball Federation of India

Elections took place in Mahipalpur, south of Delhi.

The Amateur Baseball Federation of India confirmed M.N. KRISHNAMURTHY as President and Harish KUMAR as Secretary-General.

The elections, officiated in Mahipalpur, south of Dehli, under the observation of Shr Hari KISHAN, also elected Dinesh YADAV as Treasurer. Incumbent Treasurer Brijendra Pal SINGH RANA was elected Vice President.

The Baseball Federation of India was established in 1983 and became a member of the Baseball Federation of Asia (BFA) and the International Baseball Federation (IBAF) in 1985.

The 2014 movie Million Dollar Arm told the story of Rinky SINGH and Dinesh PATEL, the first players from India offered a professional contract in the United States.

India is currently ranked 66th in the WBSC Baseball World Rankings and 13th in women's baseball.
