Palestine, Tunisia showcase Baseball5 at UTS World Virtual Youth Festival

Over 100 organisations joined forces, united by the mission to promote inclusion, non-discrimination, equality and show the world's youth standing together for a better tomorrow.

The World Virtual Youth Festival promoted by United Through Sports (UTS) came to an end with a breathtaking closing ceremony from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the centre of the event.

Over 100 organisations joined forces, united by the mission to promote inclusion, non-discrimination, equality and show the world's youth standing together for a better tomorrow.

Thousands of boys and girls aged 10-18 participated in five competitions: the Max Fit, Aero Fit, the International Paralympic Committee(IPC) Inclusive Challenge, the Special Olympics (SOI) Unified Fitness Challenge and the Talent competition.

Two WBSC Member Federations participated in the World Virtual Festival. Palestine gave a Baseball5 demonstration.

Also Tunisia demonstrated the five-on-five version of baseball/softball.

Sports leaders and athletes shared their knowledge during four live workshops and six conference sessions.

UTS is an international entity formed under the Alliance of Independent Recognised Members of Sport (AIMS). It was formed as a united step towards creating more inclusive and equal sporting events for Non-Olympic sports as well as Olympic, Paralympic and the Special Olympics.

AIMS is one of the five umbrella bodies fully recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Global Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF).
