WBSC is allocating four spots to the Americas for the 2020 Women’s Baseball World Cup.

Eight nations — Canada, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, USA and  Venezuela — will be sending their Women’s National Baseball Teams to compete in Aguascalientes.

The squads will open with a round-robin. Following the round-robin, the two top teams in the standings will compete in the championship game, while the 3rd and 4th Place teams will battle for bronze. The teams advancing to the Final and Bronze Medal match will be qualified into the WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup 2020.

Newly crowned European Champion France was the first nation to qualify for next year’s Women’s Baseball World Cup, the biggest baseball event for women.
