Panama to open U-18 National Baseball Championship next week

The tournament will serve as a preliminary selection for the U-18 National Team.

The Panama Baseball Federation (FEDEBEIS, Federación Panameña de Béisbol) has announced that the LII Panama U-18 National Championship will open on 20 March, with a game between Chiriqui and Occidente that will inaugurate the new Glorias Deportivas Baruenses Stadium in Chiriqui.

On Day 2, the rest of the 12 participating teams will be in action.

The squads vying for the national championship have been split into two groups. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the championship will be confined to two locations: Las Tablas (Olmedo Solé and Roberto Hernandez Stadiums) and Aguadulce (José Antonio Remon Cantera Stadium).
