Panama wins consolation round of the U-12 Baseball World Cup

The consolation round of the U-12 Baseball World Cup provided a couple of surprises, as Czech Republic defeated (11-5) Australia on Day 1 and Germany defeated (6-5) Czech Republic on Day 3. Overall Panama was never in doubt.
A couple of ties in the final standings (Czech Republic and Brasil for eigth place, South Africa-Germany for eleventh place) were broken through results of the qualifying round
