President Fraccari honored as Executive Advisor of Asian-Pacific Baseball Training Center Project

The International Baseball Federation (IBAF) announced that President Riccardo Fraccari received from City of Tainan the honorary position of Executive Advisor for the Pacific Baseball Training Center project, a project initiated by City of Tainan that involves 1.57 billion NTD (about 52 million US Dollar) budget with 4 baseball fields, accommodation facilities and restaurants to be built to host international and national baseball teams.

The International Baseball Federation (IBAF) announced that President Riccardo Fraccari received from City of Tainan the honorary position of Executive Advisor for the Pacific Baseball Training Center project, a project initiated by City of Tainan that involves 1.57 billion NTD (about 52 million US Dollar) budget with 4 baseball fields, accommodation facilities and restaurants to be built to host international and national baseball teams.

The facilities are expected to be complete in 2015 and will host all levels of baseball activities in the vibrant city of Tainan.

During President Fraccari’s stay in Tainan, Mr. Qingde Lai, mayor of Tainan, presented a memorial plaque to President Fraccari at the Press Conference to recognize the appointment.

“I am excited to see this great initiative. I believe the facilities will be valuable assets for Taiwanese and Asian pacific baseball communities. With this training center in place, Tainan City will be a great partner for the IBAF and I’m happy to strengthen our mutually beneficial relationship on this occasion” said President Fraccari.
