Puerto Rico's Women's Baseball League All-Star Game to be staged on Sunday, 10 October

The best 44 players will be split into the North and South selections.

The top 44 players in the Puerto Rico Women's Baseball League will compete in the 2021 All-Star Game on Sunday, 10 October, at Julio Papo Dávila Stadium in Vega Alta.

The All-Star Day will begin at 11 am with a ceremony honouring Roberto La Sombra Santana, a national executive officer. The pre-game activity will include the longest hit and the best throw to second base contests.

The 44 All-Stars will be split into the North (Lobas de Arecibo, Valerosas de Ciales, Maceteras de Vega Alta) and South (Artesanas de Las Piedras, Poetas de Juana Diaz, Cafeteras de Yauco) selections. Kevin Gonzalez, Lobas, will be in charge of the North squad, while Fernando Caban, Poetas, will manage the South.

National Team members Diamilette Quiles (pitcured above), Adrix Paradizo, Lisandra Berríos, Kariam Bou, Eva Torres, Marleen Gómez, Kiara Resto and Yairka Morán will participate in the All-Star Game.

Puerto Rico is the current No. 9 in WBSC Women's Baseball World Rankings.
