Qatar willing to send baseball team to Asian Games 2030

A delegation of the Pakistan Federation Baseball (PFB), led by president Syed Fakhar Ali Shah, met in Islamabad with Sheikh Saud Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Qatar's Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The Ambassador welcomed the PFB's proposal to advocate the development of the game in Qatar.

The Qatari government will host in Doha the XXI Asian Games in 2030.

Qatar reportedly intends to build its first baseball stadium by 2030 and participate in the Asian Games baseball tournament with its national team, which would follow the establishment of a Qatari national baseball governing body that is recognised by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC).
