Russia Baseball Federation confirms Dmitry Kiselev as president

The Russian Baseball Federation re-elected Dmitry Kiselev as president during an online general assembly held on 20 April.

Kiselev, who has been serving as President since 2017, will remain in office for the four-year term.

The Executive Board also includes Secretary-General Daria Shliapnikova; Vice Presidents Nikolay Gervasov, Vladim Vetrov, Vladimir Saranchuk, Bogdan Strelchenko; Members Georgy Abramov, Alexander Bashkerev, Pavel Gladikov, Alexey Erofeev, Alexei Koshevoy, Mikhail Larkin, Pavel Mazanov, Nikita Monakhov, Alexey Khalash, Ivan Cherepanov, Alexander Chumakov, Anton Shirokiy, Dmitry Shlyapnikov and Nikolay Shelkov.

The assembly also approved the the Russian Baseball Development Programme 2021-2024, which includes further promotion of Baseball5.

Russia will organize the European Baseball Championship Qualifier in Moscow this year.

Russia is currently ranked 28th in the WBSC Baseball World Rankings.
