Russian government officially recognises Baseball5

The five-on-five version of baseball/softball was introduced to the country in the spring of 2019, thanks to a joint effort by the country's baseball and softball bodies.

The Russian government has officially recognised Baseball5 as a new sports discipline, thus authorising competitions at the regional and national levels across all age groups.

Baseball5 was introduced to the country in the spring of 2019, thanks to a joint effort by the Russian Baseball Federation and the Russian Softball Federation.
