The Saudi Baseball and Softball Federation, which was recently approved as a WBSC member by the WBSC Executive Board and waits for ratification at the WBSC Congress, unveiled its new federation logo. In addition, the national governing body has signed a pair of agreements with USA Softball and the Palestinian Federation of Baseball and Softball aiming to develop the game in the country.
The SBSF and USA Softball have signed an agreement of cooperation to promote and develop grassroots programming in Saudi Arabia. Together, USA Softball and the SBSF will work to create strategic partnerships to enhance the long-term goal of growing the bat and ball sport across the globe.
As part of the agreement, USA Softball will provide guidance to the SBSF as it begins to develop while offering knowledge, developing potential academies and sharing expertise to promote and expand the game in Saudi Arabia.
The SBSF also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Palestinian Federation of Baseball and Softball in order to complement the efforts, enhance joint cooperation and jointly contribute to the development and activation of the game in the Middle East.
