The 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games baseball and softball competitions came to an end on Sunday at The Villages, Clark, Pampanga, Philippines, with the gold-medal games of the three competitions. The host nation clinched the gold medal in baseball and women’s softball, while Singapore stunned the Philippines to clinch the gold in men’s softball.

The Philippines scored at least one run in the first seven innings of the final baseball game to defeat Thailand, 15-2, and clinch the title. The host team ended their gold medal campaign undefeated, with five wins. In the bronze medal game, Indonesia topped Singapore, 10-4, and completed the podium.
