SKY TV to broadcast this weekend's finals of New Zealand's four-inning national softball tournament

SKY TV will broadcast the finals this weekend. The two games on Saturday will be live-streamed. The women’s game will commence at 7 p.m. local time (7 a.m. CET), while the men’s game first pitch is slated one hour later (8 p.m. local time, 8 a.m. CET).

Softball New Zealand's Fastball 45 National League is coming to an end. After three local qualifiers held in Auckland, Christchurch and Lower Hutt, the grand finals will be played from 11-13 December at ELE Stadium in Auckland, both for men and women.

Fastball 45 is an original softball format with some rule changes to the game, aiming to provide a different softball experience for both men and women. With four-inning or 45-minute games, and runners on base starting every inning, Fastball 45 offers a shortened version of the game and plenty of action on the basepaths. You can see the full set of rules on the tournament’s website.

The top players in the country have participated in the tournament, including the New Zealand Men’s and Women’s National Softball Teams captains, Cole EVANS and Lara ANDREWS, who will be playing for the title this weekend.
