Sweden's defending champs beat Sundbyberg three games to two games in the championship series.

The Sölvesborg Firehawks defeated Sundbyberg in Game 5 of the best-of-five championship series, earning their second Swedish crown in a row.

Sölvesborg and Sundbyberg dominated the regular season in Sweden and faced each other in the final series, a repeat of 2019.

Sundyrberg took the series to the limit with an emotional Game 4 win. Pitchers Moisses Pargas and Jesper Svedhem limited the Firehawks offence and Victor Croneld and Adam Hopkins nailed down a couple of runners at home plate to help Sundyrberg manufacture a 4-2 win.

Sölvesborg outscored Sundyrberg, 11-1, in the rubber match. Ben Johnson limited the opponents to five hits over seven innings, while striking out 10. He pitched with a sizable 7-0 lead that Sölvesborg had built in the first inning against Nicklas Melin.

Joe Wittig was named the MVP of the Swedish Baseball Series.
