The Korean Baseball Softball Association (KBSA) organised a softball umpiring seminar in Incheon, Korea, with 38 participant umpires. The educational activity was held at LNG sports town from 11-12 November.

The two-day seminar was attended by 16 KBSA umpires and 22 new applicants, who were instructed in theoretical and practical sessions. The seminar included physical tests, signal tests and safety education, along with practical training and a series of games.

While 34 participants received the certificate of completion, KBSA plans to promote four (out of 18 new graduates) to become official KBSA softball umpires for the 2021 season.

In March 2019, Softball Asia and KBSA organized a Seminar for Softball Umpires in Busan, Korea.
