Swiss Baseball Softball Federation elects new president: Dagmar Voith Leemann

VOITH LEEMANN became the second SBSF female President in its 40-year history, after Carmen SCHAUB.

After a virtual general assembly held on 5 December, the Swiss Baseball Softball Federation (SBSF) elected Dagmar VOITH LEEMANN as the national governing body's new President. Voith Leeman will succeed Georges GLADIG in the position, who served as president for the last eight years.

Voith Leeman's goal as president is to raise the awareness of baseball and softball in the nation, making the sport more attractive to grow the game with new players, sponsors, which would also strengthen incidentally the Swiss National Baseball and Softball Teams.

Switzerland is the 50th ranked nation in the WBSC Men’s Baseball World Rankings with 104 points; while it is in 33rd position in the WBSC Women’s Softball World Rankings.
