The Dutch national team, which won the IBAF Baseball World Cup last October, is the defending title holder in Haarlem. Cuba has won the event three times, but hasn’t won since 1998. While Japan and Chinese Taipei are regular participants, Puerto Rico is only coming for the second time. They finished in fifth place in their lone trip to the Honkbalweek in 1992.

The schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
