USA Baseball announced the U-12 National Team coaching staff. Manager R.J. Farrell will be joined by pitching coach Seth Kenny and assistant coaches Erik Johnson and Tanner Vesely.

In his three years as an assistant coach for the U-12 National Team, Farrell helped to lead USA to titles at the 2017 WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup and the 2018 COPABE U-12 Pan-American Championship.

"We are confident that [Farell], and the rest of his staff, will serve as exceptional mentors for these young athletes both on and off the field as they continue to set a standard of excellence for our program," said USA Baseball U-12 National Team Director Will Schworer.

Kenny and Johnson will be making their US National Team coaching debuts. Johnson played for the US Collegiate National Team in 1985.

Vesely returns to the U-12 National Team coaching staff after leading the US to the U-12 World title in 2015.

The 2021 U-12 US National Team identification process kickstarts at the 2021 U-11 Futures Invitational on 24 June. Players under consideration will be later invited to participate in the U-12 National Team trials later in the summer.
