USA Baseball U-18 National Team completes coaching staff

USA boasts one of the most elite and most competitive U-18 baseball programmes in the world.

The full USA Baseball U-18 National Team coaching staff has been revealed. Adam Moseley, Michael Cuddyer and Jack Wilson will serve under manager Jason Maxwell.

"We are very excited to have this experienced group join Jason on the U-18 National Team staff this summer as we work toward reaching our goal of claiming another world championship," said Ashley Bratcher, USA Baseball’s U-18 National Team General Manager.

Moseley will be the team's pitching coach. He served as the pitching coach under Maxwell at the WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup 2018. He has coached high school baseball for 15 seasons.

Cuddyer will make his USA Baseball coaching debut. He played on the US U-18 National Team in 1996 and 1997, and had a 15-year Major League Baseball (MLB) career.

Currently the head coach at Thousand Oaks High School in California, Wilson will also make his US National Team coaching debut.

World No. 2 USA will host the WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup 2021 from 10 to 19 September in Sarasota and Bradenton, Florida.

After winning it all in 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2017, the US placed second at the 2019 U-18 Baseball World Cup in Gijang, Korea, falling to new world champions Chinese Taipei in the final.
