“It feels great to have all of our athletes together here in Seattle as we begin our preparations for winning a gold medal at the Canada Cup,” said USA Head Coach Heather Tarr.

Members of the USA Women’s National Softball Team Canada Cup roster recently gathered together in Seattle, Washington, for a series of training sessions in preparation for USA’s first competition of the 2022 season.

Looking to build off the Tokyo 2020 Olympic silver medal finish, the Red, White and Blue held a series of workouts, practice sessions and simulated game situations over the weekend.

The squad is in Surrey, B.C., Canada, where Team USA will compete in the Canada Cup scheduled for June 20-26.

“It feels great to have all of our athletes together here in Seattle as we begin our preparations for winning a gold medal at the Canada Cup,” said USA Head Coach Heather Tarr. “I am so excited to get this Canada Cup roster out on the field and to see them compete against the other great teams in this tournament as we continue laying the foundation for this sport in the months and years to come.”

The 2022 USA Softball WNT Canada Cup roster includes three veterans from the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team as well as eight members from the previously announced World Games roster.
