Saber Jlajla, the President of the Tunisian Baseball and Softball Federation (FTBS, Fédération Tunisienne de Baseball et Softball) and the Continental Vice President Africa on the WBSC Baseball Division Board, has been elected to the Executive Board of the Tunisian National Olympic Committee.
Jlajla, 53, was one of the players of the Tunisian golden age of the 1980s in baseball and went on to manage the National Team. He was elected FTBS president in 2012.
Tunisia hosted the first-ever WBSC Congress in May 2014 and, in July 2018, became one of the first countries to introduce Baseball5.
