A stay strong, stay active workout video series has been launched on Olympic Day on the WBSC's YouTube Channel. Part II will be published on Thursday, 25 June, while Part III will be shown on Monday, 29 June.

The World Baseball Softball Confederation is celebrating June 23rd's Olympic Day 2020 with the unveiling of the first of a series of workout videos produced by the WBSC Coach Commission.

The WBSC Coach Commission's new video programme, in line with the values of Olympic Day, aims to raise awareness of the importance of physical activity to overall health as part of the IOC’s #StayStrong, #StayActive, #StayHealthy campaign.

The first video is a little over 2 minutes and 30 seconds and is a guide to circuit training. It starts from a warm-up and finishes with stretching exercises that help cooling down. The video features subtitle capability in English and Spanish, WBSC's official languages.

The video of Day 2 of the programme is scheduled for Thursday, 25 June. The third video will be published on Monday, 29 June.

The annual Olympic Day commemorates the birth of the modern Olympic Games on 23 June 1894. It was established in 1948 and is celebrated to promote participation in sport regardless of age, gender or athletic ability. It is also an opportunity to celebrate the Olympic values around the world.

The WBSC Coach Commission's videos are also being launched amid the COVID-19 pandemic as a solution to stay active at home while social distancing.
