WBSC launches wbscafrica.org in push toward global expansion

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) and WBSC Africa today jointly announced the launch of wbscafrica.org, the continental governing body’s new official website that is under the wbsc.org umbrella. WBSC Africa joins WBSC Americas, WBSC Europe and WBSC Oceania in integrating its continental website into the world governing body’s digital ecosystem.

As part of a global push and awareness-raising for the sport, the WBSC has made available a full package of knowledge, expertise and technology, in order to facilitate the framework, functioning and creation of robust content for wbscoceania.org and the continental websites.

With this initiative, WBSC aims to further contribute to the consolidation of the continental associations, making available for them a modern digital tool to improve their communication process and maximize their visibility, integrating them at the same time into the WBSC’s global digital strategy and Baseball and Softball World Cups.

WBSC Africa's website content includes all institutional information, documents and a continental tournament calendar, as well as exclusive baseball/softball news and developments across the member countries and territories in the region.

WBSC recently launched the WBSC Academy, an innovative e-learning tool hosted under the wbsc.org digital ecosystem, which aims to boost and standardise the global development of athletes, coaches, officials and the disciplines of Baseball, Softball and Baseball5.
