WBSC Paralympic Commission's Sarwar Ghulam named MVP of Italian Baseball for the Blind finals

Ghulam was also named the best home run hitter and drove in the most runs.

Sarwar Ghulam, a member of the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Paralympic Commission, was honoured as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Italian Baseball for the Blind League (LIBCI, Lega Italiana Baseball Ciechi e Ipovedenti).

The Italian, who helped Leonessa Brescia win the 2020 title, was also crowned as the leading home run hitter and earned the title for the most runs batted in.

Gaetano Casale (Patrini Malnate) received best hitter honours and shared the outstanding defender award with Sainey Fatti (Fortitudo Bologna White Sox). Casale was named the regular season MVP.

The WBSC Paralympic Commission is chaired by USA's Tom Nagel. The other member is Lorenzo Vinassa de Regny from Italy.
