SEOUL – The world governing body, WBSC, unveiled its Official Teaser Video of the 2015 Premier12, which was among a wave of exciting announcements on the new major international event at a press conference on Wednesday, 20 May, in the South Korean capital.
The teaser, at only a little over a minute, races through the 12 nations, highlighting the passion, emotion and honour of being among the select few chosen to represent the entire country – and what the electric atmosphere and pressure will be like at the inaugural Premier12, which will unite baseball’s 12 superpowers in Japan and Taiwan from 8-21 November.
The teaser’s signature tugs at the audience, asking “Is your country ready?”
In less than three days since its release and at the time of writing, the Premier12 teaser has been viewed over 190k times and has attracted nearly 25,000 total Likes, Comments & Shares on Facebook, expanding the teaser’s reach to nearly 800,000 Facebook users.
The Works, who collaborated with WBSC to produce the teaser, have also helped roll out and brand some of the world’s biggest sports properties, including the 2014 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Champions League Finals.
Last December, the WBSC appointed The Works Ltd to design the official look, including Fanzones, of the first edition of the Premier12.
