WBSC Premier12 2019 Group B pre-event press conference held in Taichung

A world-class press-conference is today Windsor Hotel Taichung with a welcoming speech from Shiow-YEN LU, Mayor of Taichung. Following the traditional exchange of gifts, national team managers presented their views.

Host country national team manager I-Chung HONG from Chinese Taipei National thinks that their biggest strength is its team chemistry, “We want to play the games that make our nation proud”

Venezuela National team manager Carlos SUBERO in line with the fighting spirit of his compatriots “The championship is our only goal.”

Tomorrow, the first games of Group B will be Japan against Venezuela at 18:00 in Taoyuan International Baseball Stadium, while host team Chinese Taipei will face Puerto Rico starting 18:30 at the Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium.
