The Puerto Rican Baseball Federation (FBPR) announced that the 2024 Superior Double-A League will open on 18 February at the Juan Cheo Lopez Stadium in Camuy, home of the 2023 Champions Areneros. The season's official schedule, including the opening day, will be revealed after the Board of Directors meets on 14 January.
The 2024 season will be dedicated to Luis Rivera Toledo, who will officiate the ceremonial first pitch on Opening Day. A physical education teacher, Rivera contributed to baseball as a player, umpire, scorer, coach and executive.
The 2023 champions, Arenosos de Camuy, will compete from 15 to 17 in the Copa de Campeones Dominico Boricua in Moca, Villar en Bonao and Samana, Dominican Republic. The tournament involves the champion and runner-up of the Dominican Baseball Federation (FEDOBE) Summer League (Granjeros de Moca and Mineros de Bonao) and the champions of the Samana Superior League (Arroyo Barril).

The series between Maceteras de Vega Alta and Artesanas de Las Piedras will open on Sunday, 17 December.
The defending champions Lobas de Arecibo, undefeated during the regular season, will face the fourth-placed Poetas de Juana Díaz starting Saturday, 23 December.
