HONG KONG – The Baseball Federation of Asia (BFA) has revealed a 15-game schedule for the inaugural BFA Women’s Baseball Asian Cup that will take place 2-7 September at Sai Tso Wan Baseball Field in Lam Tim, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
The continental championship will feature a winner takes all round-robin.
Six nations will compete for the Asian title, including world No. 1 and defending world champions Japan along with No. 6 Chinese Taipei, No. 7 Korea, No. 10 Hong Kong, No. 11 India and No. 12 Pakistan.
On Day 1, Hong Kong will face Pakistan, while Korea will take on rival Japan.
The top four finishers will advance to the WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup 2018.
