Panama, USA head undefeated to super round of U-18 Pan Am Baseball Championship

Panama, USA and Canada will start the super round with a 1-0 record. The other teams that qualified are Dominican Republic, Venezuela and Nicaragua. The top four of the super round will qualify for the WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup 2019

USA and the hosts Panama are the only National Teams that qualified undefeated for the super round of the U-18 Pan American Baseball Championship.

Panama and the USA will start the super round with a 1-0 record. Also Canada will share a perfect record. The North Americans won group B despite a defeat, 4-0, in the final game against Cuba.

Canada will start the super round with a clean record thanks to an 8-2 win against Venezuela, the number two seed of the group, during Day 2 of the competition.

Venezuela earned the right to play for the title with an 8-5 win against Colombia in the final day of the qualifying round.

The other two teams qualified for the super round are the Dominican Republic in group A and Nicaragua in group C.
Venezuela, Dominican Republic and Nicaragua will start the super round with a 1-1 record.

All games of the super round of the U-18 Pan Am Baseball Championship will be played in Rico Cedeño stadium in Chitré, Herrera Province. You find a detailed schedule in the gallery below.
