Argentina earns a chance to compete for a medal and will now face the loser of Canada-Australia

New Zealand beat Mexico, 8-0, in five innings and advanced to the next game in the Playoff Round of the WBSC Junior Men’s Softball World Championship. The Junior Black Sox already secured a spot in the top four of the tournament

New Zealand couldn’t keep an early lead. The Junior Black Sox pitching staff struggled with control, walking 11 batters. Canada went ahead scoring 6 in the third and never looked back

New Zealand and Canada remain on top of the standings in Group B, with three wins in as many games. Today the Junior Black Sox defeated Czech Republic, 8-1; while the hosts beat Guatemala, 7-0. Both games lasted only five innings.

The Junior Black Sox took the lead in group B. USA was no match to them. The Kiwis score 7 to get started and ended the game in 5 innings. Reilly Makea starred as a pitcher and as a slugger

The hosts showed consistent pitching and power but the USA proved they can strike back, at least for 5 innings

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) today announced that all 54 games of the XII WBSC Junior Men’s Softball World Championship 2018 in Prince Albert, Canada, will be live-streamed and available to audiences worldwide for free through the Official WBSC YouTube Channel

The Canadian Women’s National Softball Team is kicking off its 2018 season with a two-week Japan Tour that will include 14 games against several local Japanese teams between June 14-26. The team will work to get ready for the WBSC Women’s Softball World Championship, to be held in Chiba, Japan, from 2-12 August.

Media registration is now open for the XII WBSC Junior Men’s Softball World Championship 2018 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada. The registration deadline is Friday, 15 June.
